Skilled workers sometime fail to show their skills at their level in evaluative situation. This is called Under-performance problem (UPP). The process of occurrence and suppression of UPP is unknown. To reveal those process, three skilled workers participated in World Skills Competition were interviewed and analyzed qualitative analysis. The hypothetical model and two hypotheses regarding UPP process was generated, and implied that UPP may be caused by unbalancing the ecological system and recovered by rebalancing the system using such as emotional regulation.
