Abstract

In the apple producing area, it is required to promote the orchard fluidization in order to cope with the increase of laissez faire orchards due to the decreasing number of farmers. However, orchards are difficult to evaluate because they are the combined capital of farmland and trees. Orchard value declines as soon as tree cultivation management stops. In addition, orchard fluidization is difficult comparing to paddy fields, as it involves the production of proprietary technologies and the problem by attribution of profits from the tree investment invested by the borrower. This paper aims to clarify the significance and issues of the orchards fluidization system by JA Nagano in the apple production area. Specifically, based on the field surveys conducted in 2011 and 2019, we will clarify the response to the issues at the beginning of 2011 and the results to present. In addition, we analyze the significance of the production area by comparing the two points in 2011 and 2019. Intertemporal comparative analysis shows that JA Nagano's activities are effective in finding leaders, improving productivity, protecting the good orchards, and extension of new technologies. Based on these facts, the system has the functions of (1) garden supply and demand adjustment, (2) agricultural boundary judgment, (3) productivity improvement, and securing good farmland. In addition, the significance of the production area is not only in terms of production and maintenance of fruit production areas, but also in terms of sales, such as maintaining common facilities and improving the quality of new products. Can be pointed out. The significance of the business in the production area is not only in terms of production, but also in dealing with sales issues such as maintaining common facilities and improving the quality of products.
