To meet voluntary efforts that have been commenced by Japan Automobile Manufactures Association, Inc. aimed at reducing the amount of cabin Volatile Organic Compounds, Honda has preferentially developed reduction technologies, i,e., parts that do so most effectively, and common materials such as coatings and adhesives. In consideration of the target substance characteristics and featured test method, Honda has developed and introduced three reduction technologies that are effective in reducing these compounds, regardless of vehicle type, and could satisfy the guidelines specified by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
