Abstract
Merging a CAE shape optimization system and SN-ratio index of Taguchi method, a robustness-considered automated optimization method has been developed. Applying this method to diesel intake ports, mold position tolerance was considered as the error factor, SN-ratio was defined with the swirl stability. As the result of the optimization with multi objective genetic algorism, simultaneous improvement of flux, swirl rotation and SN-ratio was achieved.
