Abstract
On-board measurement system with an exhaust gas analyzer were installed on test vehicles during road driving to analyze the correlation of the environmental factors such as the road slope and traffic flow and the appearance of NOx emission increase. On the basis of these data, we focused attention on the fuel cut control of the engine and following the various driving causing the NOx emission increase. These driving conditions were reproduced in the chassis dynamometer tests. And then we studied the evaluation method for the NOx emission increase during on-board driving by using the test method.
