Abstract
An instantaneous fuel flow and an in-cylinder pressure of every cylinder and cycle were measured in actual vehicle. The indicated work and the indicated specific fuel consumption during driving cycle were calculated, and fuel economy diagnosis system was developed by using those results.Using this system,fuel economy improvement of CVT vehicle compared with 4AT and 5MT vehicle was quantitatively analyzed.
