Abstract
The new approach of developing the simplified chemical kinetic model, which was proposed in our previous paper, has the possibility to be applicable to the wide range of conditions, such as temperature, pressure, equivalence ratio and fuel molecule. This simplified model contains two reaction parts; fuel specific RO2 chemistry reaction part, and small fragments reaction part which is common to all fuels. In this study, the lumped or reduced reactions and their rate constants of alkene, methyl radical and formaldehyde, were established. And, these reactions were verified as a common small fragments reaction part to linear and branched alkanes.
