Abstract

Recently, Well-to-Wheel (WTW) assessment has been paid much attention to comprehend the effect on the environment and energy consumption of vehicles. Especially on the WTW assessment of Fuel Cell vehicles, several hydrogen generating pathways have been being considered. However, considering the characteristics of the region, the pathways are limited. In addition, even the identical generation method will change the environmental load by ratio of power generation. Thus, it is necessary to consider the characteristics of each region. In this study, the potential amount of emissions from 1kg-hydrogen-generation is showed by mathematical formula and assessed WTW of the future in Kyoto.
