Abstract
Numerical analysis was conducted on diesel particulate filter coated with NH3-SCR catalysts to downsize catalyst volume and to improve the characteristics of the NOx reduction due to controlling heat loss. Firstly, we analyzed deteriorated NOx reduction performance due to the soot loading on SCR catalyst and confirmed the validity of the model. In addition, we discussed about the catalyst design by changing the distribution of catalyst and wall thickness in the filter by using numerical code developed.
