Abstract
To investigate the difference of older and younger drivers’ physiological function in expressway driving, we collected the relevant data of the two groups of 2 hours drive in a section of 140km on Tomei expressway. Then we interviewed those drivers and measured their physiological function before, during and after their drive. It was found that from measured physiological function older drivers did have more driving stress and fatigue than younger drivers during their drive on expressway although they noticed less driving stress and fatigue themselves compared to younger drivers.
