Abstract
The microstructure in welded joint affects the residual stress. Therefore, accurate phase transformation behavior is necessary to predict residual stress by numerical simulation. Moreover, the phase transformation in the resistance spot welded joints is caused during rapid heating. However, non-isothermal transformation behavior in resistance spot welding were not clarified. In this study, phase transformation behavior in resistance spot welding were measured by using optical fiber thermometer for the purpose of the accurate prediction of the residual stress.
