Abstract
In order to realize good fuel economy, smooth acceleration and deceleration, easy drive control required for public city bus, we developed unique vehicle control strategy which controls motor drive/regeneration torque continuously based on accelerator pedal opening angle, and we confirmed its advantage on fuel economy and easy drive performance for bus drivers.
