Abstract
This study investigates the optimal trajectory of competition vehicles as an optimal control problem and generates it through optimization computations. For a course layout with a mixture of straight and curved shapes, we apply an intra-convex domain constraint method to ensure the vehicle remains within the given course. Curved shapes, which are concave domains, map to convex domains by complex mapping. Numerical results confirm the effectiveness of our approach in generating optimal trajectories.
