Analysis of Editorial Behavior in Wikipedia

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the diverse patterns of editors' behavior in\nJapanese Wikipedia. For this purpose, we choose 100 editors, and analyze their process of edit.\nFirst, we visualized how editors write articles as directed graph. Second, by using average shortest\npath length and clustering coefficient, we classified editors' behavior into three types. As a result,\nwe found editors' various participation attitudes in Wikipedia.
