In this paper, we propose a method for extracting sentences of forecasted business performance from PDF files of summary of financial statements of companies. Specifically, our method extracts sentences of forecasted business performance containing causal information by using clue expressions. We evaluated our method and confirmed that it attained 82% precision and 56% recall .
