Methodology for knowledge acquisition of various aged care process from each care facility

Abstract

There are various work processes in care facilities. Such variations are caused by preferences and physiological state of aged person, skill which each care worker has, and an environment in the care facility. Under the situation, sharing the appropriate knowledge of care processes is important to improve the skill of each care worker and educate new comer. In this study, we proposed the method for knowledge acquisition of various aged care processes from each care facility. It includes the way to acquire the common knowledge among the facilities and the way to acquire the focused knowledge in particular facility. We tried the methodology based on workshop technology with two care facilities.
