Artificial Emotional Intelligence "Saya" is an autonomous dialogue system that integrates the latest image recognition, speech recognition, speech synthesis, LLM, agent behavior control based on psychological knowledge, and character expression by CG artists. One of our goals is to bring out human true feeling and intention in words. Since our last exhibit at SLUD, our system has improved in many ways. For example, the turn taking became much smoother, it became possible to express empathy with humans in a multimodal manner, and it is possible to respond with a more natural smile and engage in task dialogue.
