Abstract
With the object of the development of fertilizer drill for the labor-saving and highyield agronomic technology for wheat suited to the agronomic system in Japan, this study was socused on the seeding mechanism utilizing pressurized air. With regard to the applicability of this seeding mechanism, the field experiments were conducted in terms of establishment of accurate seedling and easy handling. In the tests a tiller direct mount type 6-row, tractor direct mount type 6-row and 12-row pneumatic drills were used and the high potential of practical use of this pneumatic drill was found.
