Abstract
As a part of study for analysis of basic interactions between soil and a lug of wheels for paddy field operation, characteristics of soil reaction are measured by indoor experiment using soil bin and small lug wheel under the conditions of various slippages and total numbers of lug with the lug angle of 30 degree.
As a result, lug position at maximum soil reaction and relations of position of acting point and direction of reaction vectors are clarified and it turned cut that thrust efficiency of lug becoms maximum at 30% slippage in case of 12-lug condition.
