Abstract
In view of the development of automatic steering tractor, a low-cost image processing unit consisted of a computer-eye, a microcomputer, a radio control unit and a crawler tractor with hydraulic devices were utilized experimentally.
Several improvements of software and hardware for the detection of tractor position were described in this report. The first one of the improvements was a method of removing isolated points in order to remove the noise. The second of them was an improved method of detection of pixels in different brightness. The third of them was an improved image board pattern.
