Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a granular type soil disinfector. A DC blower type distributor incorporated a distributing inside cylinder with five or eight outlets was devised to make the machine lighter, smaller and simpler, and also to improve the work accuracy and performance and the effect of nematode control. The distributor devised as a trial produced ringshaped wind, which velocity was 18-22m/s when the fan rotational speed was 3500rpm. The coefficients of variation of distribution and delivey rate were less than 6-8% and 4-4%, respectively. It was prove d that the distributor had stable performance characteristics.
Because the weight ratio of granule pulverized into 0.5-1.0mm size was less than 7% and that of smaller than 0.5mm size was about 2%, it was inferredreasonably that there was little effect of the distributor on the granular pulverization.
