Abstract

In this report, experiments of the heater systems under the cold condition in winter and the cooler systems under the hot condition in summer were conducted by using two types of the air conditioners with each air outlets in the cab of the construction machinery. The subjects in the cab simulated actual operations using four levers. Stationary thermal environment was evaluated by measuring their psychological evaluations and physiological effects. At the same time, PMV were measured using a thermal comfort meter and were compared with the data of subjects. As the result of it, it was found that the separated type of air outlets was superior in the both heating and cooling conditions with regard to thermal comfort, and ventilation was necessary in the small space like the cab.
