Abstract

The purpose of this study is to clarify the factors effecting the milking performance of auto-milking systems. We introduced a railway diagram to the auto-milking operations. The milking performance was affected by the cow's entering time into milking room, the cow's teat position, sencing speed of the milking robot and the vaccum level when milking. The entering time decreased in proportion to their experience. The teat position affected the teat cup attaching time. The improvement of sencer raised the sencing speed. The higher level of vaccum increased the milking speed.
