Abstract

To improve the feeding accuracy of the automatic feeding control device of fertilizer and Seeder, this study was conducted on ground wheels which forms are related to the detective performance of running speed sensor. The influences of the diameter and the lug of the ground wheels on travel ratio were examined on different conditions of soil water content (d. b.), cone penetration resistance; soil wet density, ground contact pressure and running speed. As a result, the lugless ground wheel with larger diameter had a larger value of travel ratio and a smaller influence of soil conditions in the range of running speeds from 0.2 to 1.2m/s.
