Abstract

The performance of prototype 2 consisting of an improved vacket and compressing roler, a new cutting device was tested. Using sensing parts, limit switches, a rotary encorder, motor inverters and developing a system control program, the loading and unloading device was controlled by a microcomputer. The new cutting device for grass silage worked well and could unload with efficiency of 73kg/min. In case of automatic working, the loading efficiency was 600kg/h and the unloading efficiency was 440kg/h.
