Abstract

A pair of bimorph-type transducers was used for impact testing of gas-dispersed agar gel, fruits and vegetables parenchyma. The transmission velocity and quasi-static Young's modulus had the strong positive correlation. Gas volume fraction had little influence on this correlation.
