Development of a part of WASEDA automatic dialysis controller (WADIC)

Abstract

Effectiveness of conventional hemodialysis (HD) is not clear during HD treatment, so that the control of dialysis therapy depends on the experience of doctors and technical experts. A dialysis watching system, then, needs to be developed in order to a patient on HD during the treatment. This system can obtain the information about BUN concentration without collecting blood.
