Abstract
The adsorbability for amino acid of the newly diviced corted XAD-4 (coated by Acetylated chitin-HNC-X) was evaluated in vivo and in vitro. The adsorbability of TAA, EAA, NEAR was 16%, 22% and 11% respectively. HNC-X was applied to the obstructive jaundice in dog. After 2 hours perfusion, the concentration of Arg, Glu, Asp were extremely reduced to 32%, 43%, and 50%. It was concluded that the removal rate of each amino acids were different in in vivo and in vitro. These amino acids removed from the blood in high removal rate were all belonging to the members of Krebs-Henseleit cycle.
