Abstract

Leakage of glucose oxidase was not detected at all with a stable output of sensor to glucose as long as 3 days even if it was kept in sc tissue. Change in membrane surface of sensor was minimum by scanning electron microscopy. These data indicated the long-term bioadaptability of the wearable-type artificial endocrine pancreas.
