Abstract
In order to improve the response properties and the life of the glucose sensor, several new types of semipermeable membranes (SM) and immobilized enzyme membranes (IEM) prepared have been tested in vitro. The following results were obtained. i) The linearity of calibration curve of the sensor highly depends on the semipermeability of SM and the activity of IEM. ii) SM of acetylcellulose is able to control the semipermeability according to the preparation condition. ii) IEM using AMP CUNO's nylon filter has a higher activity. The sensor constructed with these membranes has better and faster response to BGL and longer life.
