Study on the evaluation, method for antibicial liver support system

Abstract

This study is development of the evaluation method for hepatic support system using normal subjects. Ischemic dog plasma (IDP), anhepatic dog plasma (ADP) and liver extract were injected into normal dogs intravenously with and without prior perfusion thru adsorbents. These injection tests indicate that substances derived from a damaged liver might attck the normal liver, and removability for toxic substances can be deduced histologically as well as biochemically by this method.
