Mechanical Simulation Model of Blood Circulatory System With Autonomical Control

Abstract

Human blood circulation can be regarded as a closed loop for a short period, in which perspiration and dischange of urine can be ignored. Circulation of blood in human body with the autonomic nervous system was modelled by mechanical elements. Still more, this system has a computation part, DEC-PDP-11-03 computer as autonomic nervous system. Blood volume and capacitance of mechanical elements are determined to correspond with a dog weighed about 20kg.
