Clinical evaluation of pulse generator for hemodialysis

Abstract

We clinically tried the “Pulse Generator” easily attached with ordinal roller pump for hemodialysis treatment. Comparison between the group of pulsatile flow and the group of no pulsatile flow, there are apparently differences in clearance and ultrafiltration. The “Pulse generator” can actively give pulsatile flow to get high clearance and high ultrafiltration using the same area of dialyzer, to aim at the short-time dialysis, or to promote high efficiency using for wearable artificial kidney.
