Abstract
Immunoadsorbent, PC-2, is newly prepared form crosslinked agarosegel and hexamethylene-di-isocyanate. In this study, clinical effectiveness of the immuno-adsorption therapy using PC-2 was examined for five immune diseases (Rheumatoid Arthritis, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis, Systematic Lupus Erythematosus and Pemphigus). Improvements of clinical symptoms were confirmed and successful reduction of IgG after treatments was observed. These results indicated that the immuno-adsorption therapy using PC-2 would be useful and effective for these disease.
