It is useful to measure noninvasively the blood flow of arteriovenous shunt in the hemodialysed patients. Conventional devices have not been available for this purpose. The admittance plethysmography newly developed by authors has been successfully applied to measurement of the limb blood flow in the patients with arteriovenous shunt for hemod is lys is. The blood flow per 100ml of measured limb volume is obtained noninvasively and repeatedly without any discomfort to the patient. It will contribute to taking care ofthe hemod.ialysed patients.
