Abstract
We studied experimentally the function of the new disposable pulsatile pump (Nikkiso, PP-11). The pulsatile pump was revealed very little hemolysis than roller pump.
Under pump output of 2.0l/min., the pump could maintain 80% of arterial blood pressure of pre-perfusion. And also, blood flow of the carotid and renal artery was satisfactory under flow rate of 170 ml/Kg/min..
