Oxidation resistance of CrSi₂ powder

Abstract

Silicide of the transition metal is an useful compound as a heat-resistant material. Especially, CrSi₂ is high melting point and hardness, and moreover, It changes heat into electricty. Therefore, CrSi₂ is paid attention. Thereupon, We examined the oxidation resistance of the CrSi₂ powder, in order to search the application CrSi₂ possibility at higher temperatures.
