Abstract
A bioelectronic gas-sensor (bio-sniffer) for hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) vapor was constructed by immobilized catalase to the oxygen electrode for detecting oxygen as enzyme catalytic product. The biosensor with catalase was calibrated against H2O2 solution from 0.01-12.0mmol/l. Applying to H2O2 vapor analysis, bio-sniffer could be detected odorless H2O2 vapor, thus obtaining the calibration range from 1.0 to 10.8ppm.
