A bioelectronic gas-sensor (bio-sniffer) for dimethyl sulfide (DMS) was fabricated by incorporating an enzyme electrode with flavin-containing monooxygenase into a reaction unit with both liquid- and gas-phase cells separated a diaphragm membrane. The bio-sniffer was calibrated against DMS vapor from 2.6 to 147ppm.
