Abstract
In the first report of the series(HAYASHI, 1961), it was shown that in the induced tetraploids of Renge the polar nuclei are not fused in 40% of ovules at the time of fertilization, and suggested that this failure of polar nuclei's fusion may impair the double fertilization and thus causes the partial sterility of autotetraploids. In this report, morphological and anatomical observations on the development of legumes and, embryos are described with the aim of confirming the previous conclusion.
