Abstract
The methods of producing a lot of hybrid seeds and the forage yield ability of the hybrids with Sorghum almom as a pollen parent were investigated. As the favorable methods of commercial production of forage sorghum hybrid seeds with S. almum as a pollen parent, the utilizations of F2 seeds from F1 hybrids of (S. vulgare×S.almum) and three way cross seeds of [male-sterile line×(S. vulgare×S, almum)] were proposed. Regarding the forage yield ability of the hybrids, it would be suggested that S.almum was a promising pollen parent in the forage sorghum breeding.
