COMPETITIVE ABILITY IN MUTANT LINES OF A RICE VARIETY

Abstract

Artificlal mutants of "Late", "Numerous spikes" and "Close gram" were supellor competitors to the parent. The importance of removing these mutants was reasoned in relation to the maintenance of rice variety.
