As to the morphological characteristics of triploid water-melon, the present author has already reported in the first paper of this study (MATSUBAYASHI 1954). Furthermore, as the author carried out a comprative investigation between the triploid and its original diploid plants in respect to some physiological characters also, the results defined were reported in this paper. By the way, the materials used in this experiments are the same horticultural varieties as those in the first paper. Some important results are briefly described in the following.
