Acute blood purification therapy is an essential treatment in emergency medical care for critically ill patients, and nursing during the procedure plays an important part. Our center is staffed at a ratio of one nurse to four patients, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) is performed while ensuring safety through nursing care, use of a checklist for CRRT management, education for new and transferred nurses, and interprofessional collaboration. In the future, we hope to actively implement nursing care aimed at alleviating patient pain and preventing post-intensive care syndrome (PICS), and enable patients requiring CRRT to recover early.
