A FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS ABOUT THE ACCIDENT THAT IS WALKING OF THE CHILD USING TRAFFIC ACCIDENT STATISTICS DATA

Abstract

In this study, We tried the analysis that used traffic accident statistics data to grasp accident that is walking of the child for the pedestrian accidents which occurred in Ishikawa. We focused on pedestrians and drivers in factor grasp individually, and analyzed Road Traffict Acts and ordinances violation and human factors for each age division of the pedestrian. As a result of focusing on pedestrians, below elementary school students had high ratio of rushing out violation, and it was revealed that children not yet of school age had high ratio that the carelessness such as protectors, elementary school students had high ratio that the violation of safety confirmation. In addition, as a result of focusing on drivers, when other party in the accident were below elementary school students, the ratio of violation of Safe Driving Obligation (Safety Speed Limits) and wrong judgment (inappropriate a prediction) were higher than all other age divisions, and it was revealed that the main factor was to have been assumed that pedestrian followed traffic rules.
