Resilient measurement technology for natural environment

Abstract

Resilient natural environment measurement technology is introduced with emphasis on visual IoT technology. In this vision research, importance of seeing by human eyes in realtime is stressed. The technology is applied to: snow fall detection; monitoring of water level at river; smoke detection; or volcation monitoring. By mapping the information, realtime detection and visualization of natural disasters are studied with fusion of IoT and GIS.
