Abstract

 In recent years, the aging of bridges and its measures have become a social issue, and it is necessary to deal with management in a sustainable and appropriate way with limited personnel composition, systems, and budgets. In particular, bearing are important building materials that transmit the load of the superstructure.And they are installed in severe environments at the ends of girders that are susceptible to water leakage, there is concern about the failure of bearing.It is difficult to evaluate the soundness of bearing accurately by visual inspection only.Therefore, we focused on image analysis systems(remote, non-contact displacement measurementmethod using moving images) in this paper.Then we measured the displacement of girder and bearing from the movies and images when two 10-ton dump trucks pass over the bridge.According to the measurement results, the function of the bridge bearing was maintained, and the validness of the finding results was confirmed.
