Abstract

 A 3-span continuous PC rigid-frame bridge near the Ebitori River on the Metropolitan Expressway Haneda Line was constructed by the Diwidag method. Damage of the central hinge was confirmed in the periodic inspections. In this research, FEM analysis and displacement measurement were performed with the purpose to confirm the soundness of the central hinge. Repair methods for the damaged central hinge were also examined. Soundness evaluation results of the central hinge based on the comparison of the analysis and measurement results, and an overview of the repair method were reported in this paper.
