The authors have developed a clip-type fixing device (hereafter referred to as a clip-type spring) that contributes to ensuring construction quality and improving construction efficiency by simply attaching it to the anchor bar in advance for the injectable adhesive post-installed anchor method. The clip-type spring can be attached to both fully threaded bolts and deformed steel bars, and performs a "spacer function" that centers the anchor bar in the hole, and a "stopper function" that prevents it from falling or shifting until the adhesive hardens.
This paper provides an overview of the clip-type spring's technology and an example of performance testing, followed by an example of its application in actual bridge seismic reinforcement work. In this work, the clip-type spring was applied to a post-installed anchor method for attaching a horizontal force distribution structure and a bridge collapse prevention device to existing concrete, and it was confirmed that construction time and labor were shortened compared to conventional methods, and construction efficiency was improved.
