Abstract
This article is a report by the auther on a series of studies on the practical use of coal ashes of steam power plants. The article concludes by demonstrating that the various types of ashes are each useful as pozzolanic admixture. Particularly on fly ash, the article spells out in detail its effect on the properties of concrete and suggests new testing methods for the utilization of fly ash.
